Test subject LEVR02. Hooded. Crowned. One eye, never closed. He has been sealed inside his own head with no body, no exits and nothing but what he thinks. The trial measures how long a mind can survive itself before it stops answering. You are safe on this side of the glass.
Intake file for LEVR02. No face was ever recovered under the hood.

Inside, he does not look like himself. He has two eyes in here. Keep him conscious.
Depth increases every 40 seconds he stays conscious. Deeper rooms drain him faster.

LEVR02 arrived hooded, crowned, and with one finger raised. Staff tried to remove the crown in T-03. It grew back overnight, and we stopped trying. The finger has not lowered since intake.
The rain inside his head has no color. In the first two trials it was red. He says the colors swapped when the Echo started talking.
The Echo is not a second patient. It speaks in his voice, a half-second late. Dr. Orsk believes it is the part of him that remembers being human. I believe it is the part that doesn't want him to leave.
Do not show him the mirror more than the protocol allows. In T-04 the eye on the feed stayed open for eleven minutes after the subject stopped.
— Dr. M. Vael, lead observer
he hums the same song every trial. nobody taught it to him.
Note filed before T-07.
